At Amity Yoga, we offer a variety of classes to meet you where you are in your yoga journey. Whether you’re looking for a slow and meditative practice or something more dynamic and energizing, there’s a class for you. Below, you’ll find descriptions of our current offerings to help you choose the best fit.

Gentle & Restorative Classes

🙏 Yin Yoga

Wednesdays @ 6:00 pm

A deeply meditative practice focusing on the joints and connective tissues. Poses are held for several minutes, allowing for increased mobility and flexibility. Each class is themed and offers moments of stillness for both body and mind.

🪑 Chair Yoga

Wednesdays @ 10:00 am

Designed for yogis with limited mobility, this class uses a chair for support, offering seated and standing poses. It maintains a slow and accessible pace, ensuring a gentle yet beneficial practice.

🌳 Yoga Basics

Tuesdays @ 5:30 pm

Led by Jen, this class is beginner-friendly with a slower-paced flow. It allows time to settle into each pose while incorporating repetition to help connect breath with movement. Each class includes a theme or a piece of wisdom to take off the mat.

💕 Saturday Serendipity

Saturdays @ 8:00 am

Each Saturday class offers something unique, embracing a different theme, focus, or style. It’s a great way to explore various aspects of yoga in a welcoming environment.

☀️ Morning Magic

Wednesdays @ 5:30 am

Start your day with a refreshing flow that awakens your body and mind. This class focuses on syncing movement with breath and setting a positive tone for the day ahead.

🔥 Barre + Beyond

Thursdays @ 8:00 am

A balanced blend of barre, pilates, and yoga. Expect a powerful and engaging practice that will challenge your muscles, leaving you feeling empowered and sore in the best way.

💪 Namaste Fit

Mondays @ 9:00 am; Saturdays @ 9:30 am

A dynamic class blending yoga and fitness-based movements to build strength, endurance, and flexibility. Perfect for those looking for an invigorating workout while maintaining mindfulness in movement.

Energizing & Dynamic Classes

🎶 Move+Groove Mondays

Mondays @ 5:30 pm

This class offers a bit more movement than some of our others but remains beginner-friendly. It features an energizing playlist and a lighthearted atmosphere, encouraging community and fun. While the name might suggest dance, the focus is on moving through yoga poses with joy. Expect a class full of good vibes!

😎 Free Flow Friday

Fridays @ 6:00 am

A fun, open-ended class that allows for creative sequencing and self-expression. Expect a mix of movement, breathwork, and mindfulness to wrap up your week on a positive note.

🧘‍♀️ Energize + Align

Fridays @ 8:00 am

A structured and dynamic practice following a set sequence of postures linked by breath. This class is ideal for those who enjoy consistency and wish to develop strength, flexibility, and endurance over time. Practiced in a warm room.

Specialty Classes

Community Connection

A donation-based yoga class that supports a local cause, offering the same relaxed, uplifting vibe as a Saturday Serendipity class. This session provides an opportunity to give back to the community while practicing mindfulness and movement. All donations collected go directly to a local organization or initiative, making a positive impact in the lives of those in need. Flow and connect with others for a meaningful experience.

Please note: Community Connection classes are scheduled quarterly to support local organizations.

Feel Good Friday

Kick off your weekend with an hour of gentle yoga flow followed by a 30-minute sound bath, designed to promote deep relaxation and inner peace. This soothing session is the perfect opportunity to unwind, reset, and enjoy refreshing beverages as you relax and feel good from the inside out.

Please note: Feel Good Friday events are scheduled every 6-8 weeks.

FAQs

How do I book or sign-up for a class?

SIGN UP HERE to register and purchase a classes or classes. You can also purchase Membership Plans and Class Packs.

Your own mat is NOT necessary! You are welcome to bring your own mat, but we have mats available in the studio!

No supplies necessary. Props (blocks, straps, towels, bolsters) available in studio. Of course, if you have your own props that you love, bring them!! And a water bottle is always a great idea!!

Just bring your body dressed in comfortable layers! No need to have fancy yoga pants or a matching set – show up in whatever your body feels free to move in (but keep it PG, ok?!)!

No worries!! ALL studio classes are accessible to beginners! We only ask that you honor your body by listening to it throughout the class, responding to the sensations in your body and not pushing it too far. There is ZERO expectation about how you should look during yoga, especially compared to other students in the class. We are here to bring awareness to our own body, adjusting and modifying poses as needed. ALL are welcome at Amity!!

Still unsure about attending a class for your first time? SIGN UP HERE to schedule a 1:1 call about doing a Private Yoga Session.

If it’s your first time to the studio, YES! 5-10 minutes prior to the start of class is a great idea to get acclimated to the space, sign your waiver, and get a good spot (front row vs back row).

NO! Increasing flexibility is one of the many reasons we practice yoga – so it wouldn’t make sense to make it a prerequisite!! Come stretch with us!

That’s ok! Simply let us know prior to class and we can work with you to make any adjustments/modifications! Above all else, listen to your body! ALL postures can be modified or adjusted to suit a wide variety of needs.
