How much do studio classes cost?
How do I book or sign-up for a class?
Download the Amity Yoga app from the App Store or Google Play. You can also SIGN UP HERE to register and purchase a classes or classes. You can also purchase Membership Plans and Class Packs.
What if I’m not sure what class to attend first?
We offer a variety of classes to meet your needs – whether it’s your first time trying yoga or you are looking to further your already established practice. Check out the CLASS DESCRIPTIONS and contact us if you have questions!!
What if I want to use cash to pay for classes?
You still can!! Even when booking online or through the app, you can still use cash as a method of payment. When booking a class, simply select “Pay Later” as your payment method. Your money will then be collected upon arrival to your booked class.
Do I need my own mat?
Your own mat is NOT necessary! You are welcome to bring your own mat, but we have mats available in the studio!
Do I need wear anything specific?
Just bring your body dressed in comfortable layers! No need to have fancy yoga pants or a matching set – show up in whatever your body feels free to move in (but keep it PG, ok?!)!
Is it ok to wear socks?
Yes, socks are ok to wear. HOWEVER, socks with grippies on the bottom are preferred for the safest experience.
Do I need to bring anything else?
No supplies necessary. Props (blocks, straps, towels, bolsters) available in studio. Of course, if you have your own props that you love, bring them!! And a water bottle is always a great idea!!
What if I’ve never done yoga before?
No worries!! ALL studio classes are accessible to beginners! We only ask that you honor your body by listening to it throughout the class, responding to the sensations in your body and not pushing it too far. There is ZERO expectation about how you should look during yoga, especially compared to other students in the class. We are here to bring awareness to our own body, adjusting and modifying poses as needed. ALL are welcome at Amity!!

Should I arrive early?
If it’s your first time to the studio, YES! 5-10 minutes prior to the start of class is a great idea to get acclimated to the space, sign your waiver, and get a good spot (front row vs back row).
How big are the class sizes?
We keep it pretty chill around here. Our largest classes hold about 16. This varies from class to class.
Will people be judging me?
NO! Everyone else is so focused on their own body, they don’t have time to think about how you do the poses!!
Do I need to be flexible?
NO! Increasing flexibility is one of the many reasons we practice yoga – so it wouldn’t make sense to make it a prerequisite!! Come stretch with us!
What if I have a previous injury?
That’s ok! Simply let us know prior to class and we can work with you to make any adjustments/modifications! Above all else, listen to your body! ALL postures can be modified or adjusted to suit a wide variety of needs.
